Rat in the Cellar – Starring Miriam Margolyes followed by an audience with the woman herself, all in aid of local charity, Coffin Club Hastings

The Rat in the Cellar, written by Kate Tym – Marilyn (Miriam Margolyes) frustrated with her loveless marriage, locks her husband, Alan, in the cellar and cheerfully gets on with her life. Happily enjoying a diet of trash TV and M&S ready meals, whilst blithely planning Alan’s ultimate, untimely demise. A forty-five minute radio play – performed as a live reading with sound effects. Followed by a 45-minute Q&A with Miriam Margolyes – come armed with your best Graham Norton style questions!!

Miriam Margolyes is the patron of Coffin Club Hastings, a charity which serves as an educational platform, working with elderly and terminally ill local people to help them plan and cost their perfect end-of-life celebration.
